Why A SA New Arrivals Club ?
A group of SA recent arrivals have put heads together to establish an organization to welcome and assist other recent arrivals. In a small way, we hope to take a little of your stress away each month,by affording you the opportunity to mingle in comfort, network with others, and provide a support structure for you and your family when you need it most.
So Welcome to New Zealand
Studies have shown that there are events which occur in our lives which are more stressful that others.
Ranking High on the list are :
- Moving House
- Changing Jobs
- Separation fromFamily and Friends
- Adjusting to a New Environment
Each of these events in itself are stressful, so consider the impact when they all happen at once, and what you have is IMMIGRATION.
Meetings are social and informative. Come along for a snack, a drink and a chat.Bring your kids. Our venue is in a park-like setting with a swimming pool and loads of open space to play.

This spiral is a Koru, representing the fern frond as it opens bringing new life. It represents peace tranquility and spirituality along with a strong sense of regrowth and new beginnings. The Koru is also associated with nuturing, so when interlocked with others, represents the strength within the Family. We have chosen to embrace and use this instantly recognisable symbol as it represents our new beginning and new life in this sometimes strange, but beautiful land of opportunity
